I want to offer a small peek behind the scenes. Not a polished highlight reel. Just real life.
Walking this out as a Kingdom Driven Entrepreneur does not mean every decision comes with fireworks or a booming voice from heaven. Most days, it looks much quieter than that. Much slower than people expect.
For me, it often looks like pausing before I move forward, especially when I could move fast. Especially when experience, logic, and opportunity all say “go.”
Kingdom driven work requires restraint as much as action.
It looks like inviting Holy Spirit into the process early, not after the plan is already formed. It sounds like asking, “Lord, what are You stewarding through me right now?” instead of “How do I make this grow faster?”
There have been seasons when I had the skills, the experience, and even the green light from people around me, but not the peace. Walking this out as a Kingdom Driven Entrepreneur has taught me to respect that tension. Timing is part of stewardship. It is not a delay tactic or a lack of faith. It is discernment.
As someone living out my own Second Act, I understand the shift that happens when you move from a structured career into entrepreneurship. In a traditional career, expectations are defined. Metrics are clear. In entrepreneurship, faith has to be exercised in real time.
You do not just steward ideas.
You steward energy.
You steward finances.
You steward wisdom.
You steward obedience.
You steward assignment.
Sometimes Holy Spirit leads with clarity.
Sometimes He leads with restraint.
Sometimes He leads with redirection.
That is the walk.
This is why, when I coach aspiring and new entrepreneurs, especially those 45 and older, I do not rush them past this process. We do not bypass discernment for productivity. We do not build businesses that look good on paper but quietly drain peace, joy, or alignment.
Kingdom driven entrepreneurship is not about chasing opportunity.
It is about being positioned to serve well when the opportunity arrives.
It is about being faithful with what is already in your hands.
That is how I walk this out.
That is the lens I coach from.
And that is the kind of stewardship I help others develop.
Because what you build should be aligned, sustainable, and worthy of the assignment entrusted to you.
This is not just something I teach.
It is something I live.
